Warm Up and Stretching Before Running

If you’re preparing to go out for a run (both outdoors or indoors using the treadmill) then you shouldn’t be skipping his step.

I’m talking about Warm Up and Stretching.

By warming up your muscles you’re preparing your body for the effort it is going to put in. You’re preparing your muscles for the run, and you’re getting them ready and filled with the necessary nutrients… so that they can face the run.

If you fail to warm up and stretch before going for a run, your body will still be “rigid” and the blood will not flow as week through your muscles.

So to make sure you’re in good shape before starting to run, do this short workout. Either at home or outdoors, this routine will help you have a smooth and pleasant run without any injuries.
