Planking, or a plank exercise, is one of the most effective exercises to work out your core. Not only your core–it also works and strengthens different muscles in our body such as the belly, breast, butt, and back burning more calories as you go! Which is why I love incorporating plank exercises in different variations to the workout videos I upload. It’s simple yet so effective!

In today’s video workout, we are challenging you to a quick and easy 8-minute plank session. You can use today’s challenge as your trainer or guide to improve your planking skills and increase your time–and lose weight and get in shape more and more each day!

Do this at home everyday, or for multiple times each day, and gradually increase the time you spend in planking to improve your performance and tone your waistline!
