Burpees are one of the most effective cardio and weight-loss exercises, as they involve almost all the major muscles groups in your body. Because of that, this exercise requires significant cardiovascular effort from your side which leads to more calories burned! And not only does it spike the heart rate to burn fat and improve cardiovascular conditioning, but they also strengthen and tone the abdominal, chest, shoulder, forearm, and thigh muscles making you fitter and leaner as you perform the challenge!
Today’s workout video is a 10-minute 100 burpee challenge video. Perform burpees by placing your hands on the floor, jumping your feet backwards into a plank position, then immediately jumping your feet forwards to the hands and launching into a jump with an overhead reach. It can be challenging and definitely difficult but with practice, I’m sure you can do it!
This video can also be used as your burpees counter to enable you to effectively count down the number of burpees you can perform! You can do 100 all in one go but you can also start small and gradually increase your number as the days go.
